Meet David Poole, Personal Trainer, Lincoln

'I have worked in the fitness industry for over 10 years and am really passionate about my job. As a personal trainer I feel privileged to work with people and enjoy working with them to help achieve their goals. It is important in this industry to keep abreast of the latest developments and I am currently studying for a Masters in Sports Science at the University of Lincoln to further develop my skills. I have gained a wealth of experience in results driven training and have studied under the tuition of some of the world leaders in the industry including Gary Gray, Charles Poliquin, and John Hardy to name a few.

I will work with you to develop and create a training programme that is unique to you. Through maximising training output the time you spend training will be extremely efficient and productive. I am often able to help clients exceed their own expectations - usually goals set around weight loss, fat loss, sculpting or rehabilitation. Training programmes often involve using resistance exercises, weights and kettlebells. I will ensure you are comfortable in the surroundings you are training in - whether that is the gym, your own home or other location.

I have worked with many of my clients for long periods and some have become friends. You may find your lifestyle changes gradually over time so you can sustain your fitness levels and your new shape. And you will find that exercise becomes enjoyable and not a chore!'

(Hons) Sport and Exercise Science, Faster Diploma in Functional Performance, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, EKI Kettlebell and Advanced Kettlebell Instructor, NCFE Level 3 Sports Massage, BioSignature Modulation Practitioner, PICP regional and state qualified coach, NCFE Teaching Certificate in exercise studies, YMCA Personal Trainer Award, Emergency First Aid Appointed persons, NASM Advanced Junior Athletic conditioning Specialist, Paul Chek – Primal movement patterns & Program Design.
